LEV 6:1 "Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,"
LEV 6:2 "When a person sins and acts unfaithfully against the LORD, and deceives his companion in regard to a deposit or a security entrusted [to him], or through robbery, or [if] he has extorted from his companion,"
LEV 6:3 "or has found what was lost and lied about it and sworn falsely, so that he sins in regard to any one of the things a man may do;"
LEV 6:4 "then it shall be, when he sins and becomes guilty, that he shall restore what he took by robbery, or what he got by extortion, or the deposit which was entrusted to him, or the lost thing which he found,"
LEV 6:5 "or anything about which he swore falsely; he shall make restitution for it in full, and add to it one-fifth more. He shall give it to the one to whom it belongs on the day [he presents] his guilt offering."
LEV 6:6 "Then he shall bring to the priest his guilt offering to the LORD, a ram without defect from the flock, according to your valuation, for a guilt offering,"
LEV 6:7 "and the priest shall make atonement for him before the LORD; and he shall be forgiven for any one of the things which he may have done to incur guilt. """
LEV 6:8 "Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,"
LEV 6:9 "Command Aaron and his sons, saying, 'This is the law for the burnt offering: the burnt offering itself [shall remain] on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and the fire on the altar is to be kept burning on it."
LEV 6:10 "'And the priest is to put on his linen robe, and he shall put on undergarments next to his flesh; and he shall take up the ashes [to] which the fire reduces the burnt offering on the altar, and place them beside the altar."
LEV 6:11 "'Then he shall take off his garments and put on other garments, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a clean place."
LEV 6:12 "'And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it. It shall not go out, but the priest shall burn wood on it every morning; and he shall lay out the burnt offering on it, and offer up in smoke the fat portions of the peace offerings on it."
LEV 6:13 'Fire shall be kept burning continually on the altar; it is not to go out.
LEV 6:14 'Now this is the law of the grain offering: the sons of Aaron shall present it before the LORD in front of the altar.
LEV 6:15 "'Then one [of them] shall lift up from it a handful of the fine flour of the grain offering, with its oil and all the incense that is on the grain offering, and he shall offer [it] up in smoke on the altar, a soothing aroma, as its memorial offering to the LORD."
LEV 6:16 'And what is left of it Aaron and his sons are to eat. It shall be eaten as unleavened cakes in a holy place; they are to eat it in the court of the tent of meeting.
LEV 6:17 "'It shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it as their share from My offerings by fire; it is most holy, like the sin offering and the guilt offering."
LEV 6:18 "'Every male among the sons of Aaron may eat it; it is a permanent ordinance throughout your generations, from the offerings by fire to the LORD. Whoever touches them shall become consecrated.' """
LEV 6:19 "Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,"
LEV 6:20 "This is the offering which Aaron and his sons are to present to the LORD on the day when he is anointed; the tenth of an ephah of fine flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening."
LEV 6:21 "It shall be prepared with oil on a griddle. When it is [well] stirred, you shall bring it. You shall present the grain offering in baked pieces as a soothing aroma to the LORD."
LEV 6:22 And the anointed priest who will be in his place among his sons shall offer it. By a permanent ordinance it shall be entirely offered up in smoke to the LORD.
LEV 6:23 So every grain offering of the priest shall be burned entirely. It shall not be eaten.
LEV 6:24 "Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,"
LEV 6:25 "Speak to Aaron and to his sons, saying, 'This is the law of the sin offering: in the place where the burnt offering is slain the sin offering shall be slain before the LORD; it is most holy."
LEV 6:26 "'The priest who offers it for sin shall eat it. It shall be eaten in a holy place, in the court of the tent of meeting."
LEV 6:27 "'Anyone who touches its flesh shall become consecrated; and when any of its blood splashes on a garment, in a holy place you shall wash what was splashed on."
LEV 6:28 "'Also the earthenware vessel in which it was boiled shall be broken; and if it was boiled in a bronze vessel, then it shall be scoured and rinsed in water."
LEV 6:29 'Every male among the priests may eat of it; it is most holy.
LEV 6:30 'But no sin offering of which any of the blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the holy place shall be eaten; it shall be burned with fire.
MT 25:1 "Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps, and went out to meet the bridegroom."
MT 25:2 "And five of them were foolish, and five were prudent."
MT 25:3 "For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them,"
MT 25:4 but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps.
MT 25:5 "Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and [began] to sleep."
MT 25:6 "But at midnight there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet [him.']"
MT 25:7 "Then all those virgins rose, and trimmed their lamps."
MT 25:8 "And the foolish said to the prudent, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.'"
MT 25:9 "But the prudent answered, saying, 'No, there will not be enough for us and you [too;] go instead to the dealers and buy [some] for yourselves.'"
MT 25:10 "And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut."
MT 25:11 "And later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.'"
MT 25:12 "But he answered and said, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.'"
MT 25:13 "Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour."
MT 25:14 "For [it is] just like a man [about] to go on a journey, who called his own slaves, and entrusted his possessions to them."
MT 25:15 "And to one he gave five talents, to another, two, and to another, one, each according to his own ability; and he went on his journey."
MT 25:16 "Immediately the one who had received the five talents went and traded with them, and gained five more talents."
MT 25:17 In the same manner the one who [had received] the two [talents] gained two more.
MT 25:18 "But he who received the one [talent] went away and dug in the ground, and hid his master's money."
MT 25:19 Now after a long time the master of those slaves *came and *settled accounts with them.
MT 25:20 "And the one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, 'Master, you entrusted five talents to me; see, I have gained five more talents.'"
MT 25:21 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.'"
MT 25:22 "The one also who [had received] the two talents came up and said, ' Master, you entrusted to me two talents; see, I have gained two more talents. '"
MT 25:23 "His master said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.'"
MT 25:24 "And the one also who had received the one talent came up and said, 'Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no [seed.]"
MT 25:25 "'And I was afraid, and went away and hid your talent in the ground; see, you have what is yours.'"
MT 25:26 "But his master answered and said to him, 'You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow, and gather where I scattered no [seed.]"
MT 25:27 "'Then you ought to have put my money in the bank, and on my arrival I would have received my [money] back with interest."
MT 25:28 "'Therefore take away the talent from him, and give it to the one who has the ten talents.'"
MT 25:29 "For to everyone who has shall [more] be given, and he shall have an abundance; but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away."
MT 25:30 And cast out the worthless slave into the outer darkness; in that place there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
