Im Anschluss an Tatian und Kassians Exegetika beweist Klemens, dass die griechische Religion und Philosophie neben Israels Propheten jung sei, und giebt zu diesem Zweck eine vollst�ndige Chronologie der j�dischen und griechischen Ge schichte von Mose bis zum Exil, welche auf der Gleichzeitigkeit des Mose, Inachus und Amosis beruht. Da aber auch die Zahlen Daniels f�r die christliche Chronologie von Wichtigkeit gewesen sind, f�gt er eine Erkl�rung derselben bei. Diese St�cke heben sich durch Sprache, Zusammenhangslosigkeit, besondre Chrono logie und eigenthumliche Eschatologie scharf von der �brigen Ausf�hrung ab.
