In David Guzik's series on the book of Genesis he will begin with chapter 2, and looks at the first 17 verses, where we take a look at Adam in the Garden of Eden.

Adam In The Garden Of Eden - Genesis 2:1-17

At Hope Bible Church we believe that the King James Bible is the inspired and preserved word of God (2 Tim. 3:16) and that "rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Tim. 2:15) is the key to understanding the Bible. All scripture is for us, but it was not all written to and about us. To rightly divide the word of truth is to recognize and consistently maintain the clear divisions that God put in the scripture. The main division in the word of God is between the prophetic kingdom program of Israel (concerns that which was spoken by the prophets since the world began, Acts 3:21) and the mystery program of the Body of Christ (concerns that which was kept secret since the world began until it was revealed through the apostle Paul, Rom. 16:25). Christ chose Paul to be the pattern and spokesman for the Body of Christ to follow in this present dispensation of grace (1 Cor. 4:16-17; 11:1; Phil. 4:9; 1 Tim. 1:12-16).

Have you ever had a bad meal? What about one that condemns the rest of mankind to separation from God? In Genesis chapter 2, we see that God sets up his test for Adam and Eve. There's one tree in the garden that they can't eat from, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Spoiler alert: they eat from the tree in chapter 3.
