"Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee." WE come to this continuing seeking and finding of Christ. Where is He? How is it that we lose Him so much in our day to day walk and relationship? Now here is others that come seeking Him. Whither is thy Beloved gone, O thou fairest among women? bible study, great questions of the Bible; They come seeking Him Who is worthy to be praised, glorified and adored. It would be a grand thing to have everyday someone come up to us and ask, 'Where is thy Beloved?' I too would like to know Him and worship Him. But alas, the vast majority of saints are always trying to present their Beloved to a lost world, only to be rejected, and ridiculed in most cases. But what of those glorious days of Divine visitation? When John Wesley preached and 1,000's came into the fields and were drawn, not by men, but they came seeking Christ. What of the 100's that came in the middle of the night out of their homes, in the Hebrides, seeking they knew not what, but drawn by the Holy Spirit. There is the hope and the power for the lost to come seeking our Beloved. It is nto by our hand of slight, or cunning, or entertaining spectacles but by the adoring PResence of Christ Himself. Why did the shepherd come forth from their flocks and fields? they had heard and seen the angels sing of Him. Why did the wise men come seeking Him? They had seen a star and drawn after it. Others saw the star, but only these came seeking. Many see it, many may ask; but blessed are they that find. 'Thou fairest among women' is the title given to Christ bride, the church. WE are counted fair, not because of our own merit or making, but because of His blessed hand of redemption and cleansing. All blights, all blemishes, all mars, all sin is removed by His cleansing blood.
