In the Bible, sin can be seen in two perspectives. One is the Greek word “hamartia” which means missing the mark, while the other is another Greek word “parabasis” which means overstepping a boundary. In simple terms, sin may be failing to meet a standard, or going beyond a set of rules.

Both of these occurrences of sin happen around us, and within us every day. Sometimes, we neglect our Christian duties, and in other times, we overstep the boundaries set for us. Fortunately, there is always a cure – Jesus.

God has sent His only begotten Son to die for the sins of the world, so that its penalties would not be applied to mankind anymore. The only requirement is for sinful man to place his trust in Jesus Christ as Savior by faith and believe that He has already paid it all.
