Death is one of the most dreaded experiences for any human being. It is but natural to fear death because of no one alive knows what actually happens when one dies. But where does death come from? When God made man and gave him authority over all His creation, he was sinless and perfect, and he was bound to live forever.
Unfortunately, the serpent tempted Eve, and she and Adam ate of the forbidden fruit. They did not believe God’s words when He said whoever eats of the fruit dies. It was where death began to take place, not just for mankind, but the creation as a whole.
Death is separation, and no one is able to stop one’s physical death if he is already appointed to die. However, spiritual death can still be prevented through salvation in Jesus Christ.
