The Bible has a lot of exciting and thrilling stories that showcase God’s power. The story often begins with a character or a group of people facing jeopardy and danger. Just when all seems lost, God will rescue them from their enemies, and then those whom He rescued will worship Him.
But these aren’t simply stories. These events actually took place, and as readers of the Scriptures, we can learn something – that is in every situation, no matter how dire it seems, God is still in control.
No experience or situation surprises God. Everything is according to His plan. The Bible says that nothing is too hard for God. So the question really is why do these things happen? God allows these situations to happen so we can trust in Him and not on our own selves.
