Moving away from one place to another is a tiring and sad experience. The Bible has plenty of stories detailing moving away from a desert, and into the Promised Land flowing with milk and honey. The Patriarch Abraham did that when God commanded him to leave his father, Terah, and go to a place unknown to Him.

The good thing about this early relationship between God and man, was that He indicated where the people would go, and wait for them to obey. In moving away, always make sure that the reason is valid, and it does not contradict with God’s word.

Moving away could be a crucial or life changing experience for a child, which means parents should think twice, thrice, and really consider all other options before moving away.
