It's very easy to overlook this bold claim in Matthew 12:42 but up to that point Solomon had been considered the wisest man who had ever lived! 2 Timothy 3:16,17 have been a spiritual anchor in my own life. In 2 Timothy 3:16 Paul boldly declared to his underling Timothy that all of Scripture was God breathed or inspired. Just as in our own day Paul warned Timothy to beware of those who would attempt to discredit Scripture and add in their own false teachings. 2 Timothy 3:16,17 are just as relevant today as they were back in Timothy's day.
