A Woman of Valor - who can find?" This is how we are to understand the well-known Proverbs 31:10-31 passage, our theme on Sunday. It is a blessing, a celebration, a song of praise. In fact, it was written as a poem to be memorized by Jewish men who would recite it regularly to the women in their lives! Their wives, daughters, sisters, mothers and friends. There is only one instructive statement in the entire passage - to "praise her for all her hands have done."
So, to all the Women of Valor in our lives . . . to all the Moms who have worked so hard to love and care and serve and teach and turn a house into a home ... to all the wives and daughters and sisters and friends ... we want to express our praise and thanksgiving. We are blessed - and immeasurably better - because God has placed you in our lives!
Welcome, dear friends, to Home Church Langley!
WOMEN OF VALOR
May we know them
May we praise them
May we be them
May we raise them
