This lesson continues the theme that true freedom by God is freedom with reparations. This gives everyone true restoration. Our US government had an order (Sherman's order no.15) and decree (Republican Congress passed laws 1866) just like the decree of Cyrus and Darius for freedom with reparations. However, unlike the US that never executed the order and vetoed the law (President Johnson 1866), Cyrus and Darius made sure that Federal and State governments of their empires paid reparations to the freed Jews for the rebuilding/restoration of God's house/temple. This freedom and reparations in our lesson was used to allow the people of God to worship but also pray to support the king and those around him. This is why it is important for revealed religions of the world (Judaism, Islam, and Christianity) to require this nation and other nations of the world to pay reparations to African Americans and the African slavery diaspora for race based slavery. Then prays can be made for the saving and sustaining of those in leadership from a truly free people of God. Because, "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
