Politicians have always been tempted to use their positions for their own gain at the costs of the people, especially God's people. The last kings of Judah were a glaring example of this sinful practice. We see this practice today as well but what we see in Ezekiel is that Man might manipulate the church for His gain but Christ, our Good Shepherd, will come to us, gather us and protect us!
