Why has the people of God hopped back and forth, and in and out of relationship with God? When we sin and rebel against God, we know in our hearts right and wrong. Yet like the prophets of Baal and Asteroth we continue to put the stumbling blocks and barriers in the way of our relationship with God serving our three main gods: Me, Myself, and I. Just like Elijah mocked the prophets of Baal, we are mock by our talking; not listening to Gods voice, our pursuing; not letting God lead us (psalms 23), our journeys; not having a destination to God, and being asleep; not awaking to the love and the spirit of God in us.
