We human beings can be so bad at predicting the future. Our foresight is often especially weak when it comes to people. Jesus shares three parables (the wheat and the weeds, the mustard seed, and yeast in the dough) that each illustrates this point. In each story, Jesus emphasizes the importance of patience, humility, and trust that God is already at work in ways that we cannot see.
