The Psalmist David was hiding in a cave in fear for his life when he penned our verse for the day. He decided that he would give thanks to God. He made a determined choice to give praise among the nations while he was yet hidden in darkness during perilous times. What inspired him to do so? It was an awareness of God’s love and faithfulness that is greater and higher than our minds could ever imagine. Will you join me today as we lift our eyes towards Heaven with a song of praise?
