Isaiah chapter 13 is a very important chapter. Over the years I have heard so many false teachings about this chapter. It is very important to get this chapter correct because Jesus quotes a verse from this chapter in Matthew 24:29.

So if you don’t understand what God is describing through Isaiah in chapter 13 then one can’t fully understand what Jesus is saying in Matthew chapter 24.

I have heard pastors preach that Jesus is referring to the rapture in Matthew 24:29 or that Jesus is describing the day of His return in Matthew 24:29. This is why it is important to understand what God is describing through Isaiah in chapter 13. Because anyone that reads Isaiah chapter 13 can see that God is describing a very violent war between countries. (Who is this symbolic Babylon that is getting destroyed?)
