In this video we begin to demonstrate how the apostle John used the prophecy of Jesus in Mathew 16:27-28 as his source for the second coming of Christ in the book of Revelation. If John, under the inspiration of the Spirit understood Mathew 16:27-28 to refer to the second coming of Christ and applied it that way, then modern futurist are clearly wrong to apply it differently. The biblical fact is this; the second coming of Christ in Revelation 22:12 was drawn from the coming of the Son of Man in Mathew 16:27-28, which both Jesus and John placed within the lifetime of their contemporary generation.
