Each generation passes things on to the next generation. It is up to us whether they will be things from God’s heart or not. Psalm 145 reminds us to pass on the awe and wonder of God’s works - the incredible acts he’s performed and wondrous diversity of his creation - to the generation that follows us. ????????????????????????

For our family, we dedicate this song to our girls’ great-grandmother, Tinā Saelua Fa'alafi, who turned 95 this year. She and Tamā Samuelu (girls’ great-grandfather) ensured the name of Iesu (Jesus) was lifted up in our home in Samoa ???????? , where we would daily sing hymns of praise during the lotu (evening prayer time). ????????????????

May Jesus' name ever be on the lips of grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren around the world for generations to come. ???? ❤️

PSALM 145:1-4

Lo’u Atua e, le Tupu
Ou te faane’ene’e ia te oe
Ou te faamanu atu fo’i i lou Suafa
E faavavau, faavavau lava.

Ou te faamanu atu ia te oe
I aso uma lava
Ou te vivii atu fo’i i lou Suafa
E faavavau, faavavau lava

E silisili lava Ieova
E matua viia o Ia
E le mafai ona su’esu’eina
I lona silisili ‘ese lava

E vivii atu le tasi tupulaga
I le tasi tupulaga
I au galuega uma lava
E vivii atu le tasi tupulaga
I le tasi tupulaga
Latou te faailoa mea mamana
