This sermon is entitled 'Rend The Heavens And Come Down' and the text is taken from Isa. 64:1.
In this sermon, I will begin with the Pentecost experience in the book of Acts 2 and cover other revivals that occurred in history. As this Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, i believe it is only proper we take a close look at Revivals and the Great Awakenings.
I can hear a sound, a sound of revival. We are living in a time that is ripe and ready for revival. God is looking for the people, the remnant, the church that are hungry and thirsty for a fresh awakening, for a fresh Pentecost experience.

This should be our cry: "Send the rain Lord. We need a revival God. Lord rend the heavens and come down."

When revival hits us, things are going to change. There will be repentance, a hunger for the word, a passion for prayer and a burden for souls. Also when revival comes there will be healings, there will be deliverance, addictions will be broken and people will experience the peace and joy of God like never before. Furthermore, when revival comes the crime rate will drop drastically, your business will flourish, and God will use you powerfully in ministry.

We are facing a very difficult time, darkness and gloominess, uncertainties, fear, economic downturn, sickness and threats. We need God to come in our midst and change things. We need God to rend the heavens and come down. We need God to revive us once again.

In this sermon, I will focus on the Pentecost experience in the book of Acts and also many other awakenings and revivals. And from these revivals and awakenings I identified 7 points or steps that we should commit to so that we ready and prepared for to experience revival.

God is looking for people, the remnant that are crying out for revival.

All you need is for God to come into your life, powerfully, all you need is a fresh Pentecost, all you need is a revival. When revival comes, the power of the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you go forth doing great things like the book of Acts in dunamis power and authority.

Pray you are set on fire once again for Jesus Christ.
Pray you experience a fresh Pentecost.
