Romans 12:15 (NLT)
'Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. '

We must master empathy, to feel and understand what other people are feeling. He commands each of us to connect with others as deeply as our emotions.

Nothing communicates sincere love and concern for another person more powerfully than recognizing and joining in their highs and lows. We show love by empathizing with their celebrations and allowing ourselves to be vulnerable and feel broken with them in their seasons of heartache.
