This is the 3rd message in our series, "Exodus: Under the Empire," and it goes through Exodus chapter 2:11-25.
In "Strangers in a Strange Land," we’ll see Moses start to realize
his true identity through being humbled. It is only after being humbled that Moses will identify no longer as an Egyptian, but instead as a sojourner - a stranger in a strange land.
Moses isn't called to be a part of the Kingdoms or the Empires of the world; Moses is called to be a part of God's Kingdom, and to follow God's way of redemption and deliverance.
Just like Moses, need to recognize who we really are - whose we really are. We aren’t citizens of this world; we are citizens of heaven, humbly advancing God's Kingdom and God's Kingdom values through our lives and by our prayers.
Recorded at Beatrice Mennonite Church on January 21st, 2018.
