Reaching The Ones

1) Pray 1Thessalonians 1:2-4
• Pray! Paul’s example: gave thanks, prayed for them.
• Prayer from genuine heart; admit humility (apart from Him you
can do nothing - John 15:5).
• Seek God’s direction, intervention, & release matters to Him.
• Prayer is not the last thing to do – it’s the best you can do.
• Prayer for your one lays foundation – for them & us.
2) Meet Them V.4-7
• Paul/Silas travel to Thessalonica to share gospel in region.
• V.5 Gospel came (words, power of Spirit, conviction).
• V.6 They imitated Paul/Silas, accepted message, were a model
for others in how to live for Jesus despite persecution.
• Meet others on their turf. Show them reality of the gospel as
build relationships, connect to share God’s message.
3) Share Good News With Them 2:1-6a
• Paul/Silas spoke God’s message with truth, not manipulative.
Were pleasing to God, not seeking self-gain.
• V.8 Shared gospel in word and deed. Lived out what they said.
• V.13-14a Gospel shared was God’s Word.
• As we share with others, realize your lifestyle speaks more than
words. Show the truth. Share verbally. Hypocritical living ruins
your witness.
“Lord, please give me the opportunity to share the good news
with someone today; the wisdom to see this opportunity;
and the boldness to take it!"
