Our Scripture today is taken from the 40th Chapter of the Book of Isaiah; surely one of the greatest chapters in the Bible, because within it the prophet Isaiah comforts the people of God in their great affliction and persecution, and in the midst of their struggles for survival, Isaiah tells them how tremendously great and powerful God is, and how He, upon their repentance, will deliver them, and us, from all trials and sorrows!
