Tu B'AV-- the Jewish Day of Love
http://www.myjewishlearning.com/article/tu-bav/
"is both an ancient and modern holiday. Originally a post-biblical day of joy, "

Psalm 40: 7-10
7 Then said I, `Lo, I have come,' In the roll of the book it is written of me,
8 To do Thy pleasure, my Elohim, I have delighted, And Thy law [is] within my heart.
9 I have proclaimed tidings of righteousness In the great assembly, lo, my lips I restrain not, O YaHoVaH, Thou hast known.
10 Thy righteousness I have not concealed In the midst of my heart, Thy faithfulness and Thy salvation I have told, I have not hidden Thy kindness and Thy truth, To the great assembly.

Psalm 37
31 The law of his God [is] his heart, His steps do not slide...

40 And YaHoVaH doth help them and deliver them, He delivereth them from the wicked, And saveth them, Because they trusted in Him!

"Every man . . . shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house--Standards were visible signs of a certain recognized form for directing the movements of large bodies of people. As the Israelites were commanded to encamp "each by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house," the direction has been considered as implying that they possessed three varieties: (1) the great tribal standards, which served as rallying points for the twelve large clans of the people; (2) the standards of the subdivided portions; and, (3) those of families or houses. The latter must have been absolutely necessary, as one ensign only for a tribe would not have been visible at the extremities of so large a body. "

"2.4 Banners and Directions. Each of the tribes of Israel had a flag or banner with its sign. The Hebrew word for "sign" is translated "ensign" in the King James Bible (Num. 2:2), but Hebrew commentators make it clear that the signs also refer to zodiac constellations. According to tradition, the figure of a man was found on Reuben's banner, a lion on Judah's, a serpent on Dan's, and a bull on Joseph's (or more precisely, on his son Ephraim's, who took his place). When they camped, they did so with these four banners facing the four directions: Judah facing East, Reuben facing South, Ephraim facing West, and Dan facing North (Num 2:3,10,18,25)."

"The Targum Yonasan on Chapter 2 of BaMidbar mentions the flags for each "super-tribe", i.e. cluster of three tribes that camped together:

(2:3) Camp Judah's flag had stripes corresponding to the member tribes' stones [on the breastplate], namely red, green, and "shiny"; it bore the names of the three tribes Judah Issachar and Zebulon, with the inscription "Arise o G-d and may Your enemies scatter, and may Your foes flee from You", with the image of a young lion ..."

3 Bind them on your fingers; Write them on the tablet of your heart.
4 Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” And call understanding a close friend,
5 To guard you against the STRANGE WOMAN ( Revelaton whore) , Against the foreigner who flatters with her words.

6 For at the window of my house I looked through my lattice, ( Song of Solomon speaks of a lattice)
