QUESTIONS COVERED:

1.  I have heard two opposing views by two well-respected and experienced pastors about who the biblical 24 elders are or represent. One believes the 24 elders are angels representing their respective 24 unfallen worlds while the other believes they represent earthly elders of the ceremonial law system. I think both pastors present what appears to be logical conclusions from the Bible, other writings, and human reasoning. What do Seventh-day Adventists, as a majority, believe about this subject? Who are the 24 elders and what do they represent?

2.  If all belongs to God, is getting money through lottery winnings wrong? Is it ok to play the lottery?

3.  Can someone please explain Mark 12:1-12?

4. Can you please explain the meaning of Revelation 7:13 when the 24 elders ask John the question about the ones in white robes?

5.  My son took his life 10 days before Christmas, 2021. I pray to God, asking Him to have mercy on my son and to remember how deeply hurt he was by people who he loved and trusted. Is it wrong for me to do that? Is it wrong to pray for the deceased?

6. John 3:16 states "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." Then what does Jesus mean when He tells the Samaritan woman in John 4:22, "You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews"? or Matthew 15:24, when Jesus speaks to the Gentile woman, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel?" Is salvation only for the Jews?

7.  How do Seventh-day Adventists reconcile and unite the seals with the trumpets if the trumpets are not given to the angels until the seventh seal is opened and it is confirmed in Revelation 9:4 by pointing to the seal of God? Can you please explain the seals and the trumpets?

8. What is Gog and Magog?

9. Is it true that the secret rapture is not biblical but was originally an invention of the Jesuits, namely a certain Francisco Ribera in the 16th century at the council of Trent? Please can you clarify? Will there be a secret rapture?

10.  Do Seventh-day Adventists celebrate Christmas? If so, how?

11. Did God allow certain people in the Bible to kill because people like Samson and David asked God for strength, received it, and killed their enemies with the strength God gave them?
