In this series through the book of Acts, we explore how the early church announced the kingdom of Jesus Christ to the world. How could a tiny band of people with no political power, no buildings, no weapons, and no privilege bring transformation to the mighty Roman Empire?
This week we'll look at the second half of Acts 16, we'll see Paul & Silas choosing to worship God in the middle of terrible injustice. And when they don't take advantage of their chance to get even, we'll see a hardened Roman soldier ask, "What must I do to be saved?" Is it possible our times of suffering are, in fact, moments when our faith shines brightest and attracts others to Jesus?
