#53 - Haftarah Ha'azinu (2 Samuel 22:1-51) ""Prophetic glimpses from The Song of Moses and the Song of David Parallel the Future Song of the Deliverance of God's People!” 
 
Ha'Azinu (הַאֲזִינוּ) — Hebrew for "listen" when directed to more than one person, is the 53rd weekly Torah portion (פָּרָשָׁה‎, parashah) in the annual cycle of Torah readings and the 10th in the Book of Deuteronomy. It covers on one chapter in Deuteronomy 32:1–52 and sets out the Song of Moses — an indictment of the Israelites' sins, a prophecy of their punishment, and a promise of God's ultimate redemption of them. Haftarah Summary of II Samuel 22:1-51 
This week's haftorah parallels the Torah Parashah Song of Moses with a description of the song King David composed in his old age, echoing the weekly Torah reading, where Moses delivers his parting words to the Jewish nation in song form. 
 
David's song expresses gratitude to God for saving him from all his enemies. He starts with the famous words, "The Lord is my rock and my fortress." He goes on to describe the pain and hardships he encountered and reiterates that he always turned to God in his moments of distress. He recounts God's reaction to those who tormented him: "The Lord thundered from heaven; and the Most High gave forth His voice. And He sent out arrows and He scattered them, lightning and He discomfited them. . . I have pursued my enemies and have destroyed them; never turning back until they were consumed." 
 
The King attributes his salvation to his uprightness in following God's ways: "The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands He recompensed me..." 
 
The song ends with David's expression of thankfulness: "Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the nations, and to Your name I will sing praises. He gives great salvation to His king, and He performs kindness to His anointed; to David and to his seed, forevermore."

DEUS, durante toda a eternidade, ELE sempre foi bom, e sempre foi justo. 
Aqueles que buscam à DEUS, de coração, com humildade, e com amor. Recebe todas as bondades e as misericórdias do SENHOR. 
Porém, aqueles que decidem desafiar à DEUS. DEUS não o retribui da mesma forma, porém, DEUS deixa que este que caiam nos seus próprios laços, e que enfrentem as adversidades que ele próprio provocou. 
Durante todos os tempos, DEUS protegeu o seu povo, enquanto o seu povo o buscavam e o adoravam, o SENHOR os protegia. 
Porém, quando se afastava de DEUS, e buscavam adorar outros deuses, eles caíam em suas próprias loucuras. E eram destruídos por guerras, por pestes, doenças. 
 
PORQUE ERAM DESTRUÍDOS : 
Porque se afastavam de DEUS, e ficavam sem a proteção do ALTÍSSIMO. 
 
No estudo de hoje, no livro de II SAMUEL, no capítulo 22, no versículo 26 ao 37. 
Aqui relata um cântico do rei Davi, e ele coloca algumas ideias próprias dele, neste cântico, e ele fala sobre a personalidade de DEUS. 
Ele começa mostrando primeiro o lado justo de DEUS, depois, ele vai mostrando o lado protetor, e benigno, e bondoso do nosso DEUS. 
E como DEUS protege e livra de todos os males àqueles que estão ligados à DEUS. 
 
Neste cântico de Davi, nós escolhemos alguns versículos somente para vermos a descrição que Davi fez do SENHOR DOS EXÉRCITOS, O DEUS CRIADOR DO CÉU E DA TERRA. 
 
Vejam como Davi descreve, no verso 26: "COM O BENIGNO TE MOSTRAS BENIGNO". 
Quer dizer, que aquele que é bom, merece ser tratado com bondade e misericórdia. 
 
"COM VARÃO SINCERO, TE MOSTRA TAMBÉM SINCERO". Quer dizer, que aqueles que são sinceros, merecem ser tratados com sinceridade. 
 
"COM O PURO, TE MOSTRAS PURO". Quer dizer que aquele que é puro, também merece ser tratado com a pureza e a justiça. 
 
"MAS COM O PERVERSO, TE MOSTRAS AVESSO". Quer dizer que aquele que é perverso, também deve ser tratado da mesma forma. 
 
O rei Davi continua: "E O POVO AFLITO, TU OS LIVRAS DA AFLIÇÃO". Quer dizer que aqueles que são justos, e estão passando por aflições, DEUS os livra. Ou seja, que o justo também passa por aflições, mas recebe a proteção de DEUS. 
 
"MAS OS TEUS OLHOS, SÃO CONTRA OS ALTIVOS, E TU OS ABATERÁS". O rei Davi, teve muitas experiências de guerras, enfrentou muitos homem altivos, e violentos, mas todos foram abatidos por DEUS. 
E ele esclarece no verso 29 assim: "PORQUE TU, SENHOR, ÉS A MINHA CANDEIA; E O SENHOR ESCLARECE AS MINHAS TREVAS, PORQUE CONTIGO PASSO PELO MEIO DE UM ESQUADRÃO, PELO MEU DEUS, SALTO UM MURO". Vejam as experiências que Davi tinha com DEUS. 
 
Ele não tinha medo algum, enfrentava exércitos, pulava os muros, e DEUS sempre o defendia. 
 
No verso 31, ele é mais específico sobre a personalidade de DEUS: "O CAMINHO DE DEUS É PERFEITO, E A PALAVRA DO SENHOR É REFINADA. E É O ESCUDO DE TODOS OS QUE CONFIAM NELE". 
 
No verso 33, ele diz assim: "DEUS É A MINHA FORTALEZA, E A MINHA FORÇA. E ELE PERFEITAMENTE DESENBARAÇA O MEU CAMINHO". 
Vejam bem, aqueles que confiam no SENHOR, mesmo que o seu caminho esteja todo embaraçado, o SENHOR desembaraça. 
 
No verso 35 ele diz assim: "ELE FAZ DOS MEUS PÉS COMO OS PÉS DAS CERVAS, E ME PÕE SOBRE AS MINHAS ALTURAS". Quando ele se refere aos pés das cervas, ele quer dizer que os seus pés são muito rápidas e velozes. 
 
No verso 35: "INSTRUI AS MINHAS MÃOS PARA A PELEJA, DE MANEIRA QUE UM ARCO DE COBRE SE QUEBRE PELOS MEUS BRAÇOS". Ele quer dizer que com a ajuda de DEUS, os braços dele que são de carne e osso, podem quebrar um arco fabricado de cobre. 
 
No verso 36: "TAMBÉM ME DESTE O ESCUDO DA SUA SALVAÇÃO E PELA SUA BRANDURA, ME VIESTE A ENGRANDECER". Aqui ele quer dizer que DEUS deu o mais importante para ele, que é a salvação, e pela brandura de DEUS, ele foi engrandecido. Aqui ele revela DEUS brando, manso, humilde, bondoso. 
 
No verso 37: "ALARGASTE OS MEUS PASSO DEBAIXO DE MIM, E NÃO VACILARAM OS MEUS ARTELHOS". 
 
Queridos irmãos em CRISTO, todas essas palavras de Davi, revelam o conhecimento que Davi tinha sobre o DEUS ALTÍSSIMO, CRIADOR DO CÉU E DA TERRA. 
 
Esta forma de se expressar sobre o CRIADOR. É somente de uma pessoa que conhece muito bem à DEUS, e para tal conhecimento de DEUS, é necessário se relacionar com ELE, andar com ELE, envolver DEUS nos seus projetos, nas suas lutas, nas suas dificuldades, nas suas aflições, e sair vitorioso em todas situações que o ser humano se envolve, mesmo não querendo se envolver, mas quando se dá conta, já está envolvido em grandes lutas e em grandes tribulações, mas O SENHOR NOS LIVRA DE TODAS ELAS. 
 
AMÉM, 
GLÓRIA À DEUS

When you study through the life of David you see how often God delivered him from great troubles; and David certainly had many troubles in his life. He spent many years on the run from Saul’s wrath and jealousy. He faced many enemies from the countries surrounding Israel. His own son, Absalom, tried to overthrow him and he had to flee Jerusalem to save his life. He then had to put down a squabble between the tribes of Israel for who would have the honor of escorting David back to Jerusalem. He was barely reestablished on the throne when he had to face another attempt to overthrow the kingdom. 
 
Certainly David faced many troubles and many of us face troubles as well. One thing is most certain in this life, we must continue steadfast in our faith, because the challenges and difficulties are part of living on this earth. 
 
What we need then, is to make some decisions in regards to how we will live our lives. From early in David’s life it’s clear that David decided that he would trust God to be his help and he stood by that decision all of his life; even into his old age. 
 
It’s also important for us to see that David would trust God to be his help whether his troubles were caused by others or by his own foolish decisions. 
 
In 2 Samuel 22, David wrote the words of a song to the Lord after he had been delivered by the Lord yet again. David is called a man after God’s own heart and the words of his songs, his psalms, reveal that heart to us. And if we will take these words into our hearts, we would be strengthened as well.
