Joseph Betrayed into Egypt

Joseph was Jacob’s favored son. This didn’t make the other 11 bothers happy at all. Especially when Joseph told them that they would all bow down to him. So they sold him as a slave to traders traveling to Egypt.

1. Joseph found his brothers near Dothan; they then sold him to Midianite traders (Genesis 37:12-35).

2. Joseph was sold to Potiphar in Egypt (Genesis 37:36).
