Proverbs 26:1"As snow in summer, and as rain in harvest, So honor is not seemly for a fool."In Proverbs 25:13, the cold of snow during harvest time was mentioned as a welcome blessing; but here snow in summer is considered as undesirable. Why? The cold of snow in Proverbs 25:13 was from snow stored up from the previous winter; here the reference is to a snowfall in summer. See comment under Proverbs 25:13. read more
