Genesis 28:13. The Lord— Jehovah; the second Divine Person, He who had always manifested himself to the Patriarchs. The words, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed, might perhaps be read with as much propriety, to thee, EVEN to thy seed: see ch. Genesis 13:15.
