3:8 Produce (i-1) The verb is in the aorist. It is to be the characteristic of the man, not a mere exhortation for the future. 'Be in the state of having done it.' repentance. (k-6) The word here and elsewhere translated 'repentance' denotes the moral judgment of the soul upon all the past, upon all that it is in the flesh before God.
