and begat sons and daughters ; not mentioned by name: he died, as the above Arabic writer F26 Apud Ibid. p. 260. says, in the month Nisan, A. M. 2696; and a Jewish writer F1 R. Gedaliah, ut supra. (Shalshalet, fol. 1. 2.) says he died in the forty eighth year of Isaac, and who also says F2 Ib. fol. 75. 1. , that in his days they began to build the city of Babel.
