Exodus 32:24

Exo 32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break [it] off. So they gave [it] me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

Ver. 24. There came out this calf. ] A very poor excuse. Something he would have said, if he had known what. Here he "hid his sin as Adam," Job 31:33 being too much his child.
