Verse 34
1Ki 8:34 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy people Israel, and bring them again unto the land which thou gavest unto their fathers.
Ver. 34. And forgive the sin of thy people. ] For else, if thou shouldst turn again their captivity, they could have no great comfort. Pardon of sin is a principal mercy, and chiefly to be sought for.
