Jeremiah 1:12

Jer 1:12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Ver. 12. Thou hast well seen. ] Heb., Thou hast done well to see, i.e., so to see.

For I will hasten my word. ] Heb., Amigdalaturns sum, I am watching upon the evil, to bring in the Chaldeans, as I have threatened. See the like elegant allusion, Amos 8:1-2 . Nemesis a tergo; punishment is at the heels of sin.
