Verse 9
Eze 7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations [that] are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD that smiteth.
Ver. 9. I will recompense. ] The same as before. Nunquam satis dicitur, quod nunquam satis discitur.
That I am the Lord that smiteth. ] Think not that I am made all of mercy, or that I will ever serve you for a sinning stock. Ye shall know that I have verbera flogging as well as ubera, plenty and can so set it on as no creature can take it off.
