Eze 18:22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

Ver. 22. All his transgressions. ] So true is that of an ancient, Quem poenitet peccasse, poene est innocens - Penitence is nearly as good as innocence.

In his righteousness. ] Or, For his righteousness, tanquam ob causum sine qua non, et ob promissionem Dei, a not of merit, but mercy and free grace.
