Hebrews 7:18

18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

Ver. 18. For there is verily a disannulling ] Gr. υθετησις , an outing, cassating, expunging.

For the weakness and unprofitableness ] sc. To justify, sanctify, save,Romans 8:2; Romans 8:2 ; though as a schoolmaster to Christ, and a rule of life, it is of singular use still.
