Verse 2
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Ver. 2. No more conscience of sin ] Christ, though he took not away death, yet he did the sting of death; so though he took not away sin, yet he did the guilt of sin.
