James 3:18

18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Ver. 18. Is sown in peace ] Only we must not think to sow and reap all in a day. By the fruit of righteousness may be meant the crown of righteousness,2 Timothy 4:8; 2 Timothy 4:8 , which Christ (the Prince of peace) shall put upon all the sons of peace,Luke 10:6; Luke 10:6 ; as, in the mean time, they shall be called the sons of God, Matthew 5:9 , have not only the comfort, but the credit, the name and note of such.
