Behold, I will take away [Heb. exterminate ; same word as in 1 Kings 14:10 (where see note); 1 Kings 21:21 ; 1 Kings 22:47 , etc.] the posterity of [Heb. after ] Baasha, and the posterity of [ after ] his house, and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
