With whom my hand shall be established; i.e. "to whom I will give continual support" (see 1 Samuel 18:12 , 1 Samuel 18:14 ; 2 Samuel 5:1-25 .]0; 2 Samuel 7:9 ). Mine arm also shall strengthen him (comp. Psalms 89:13 ).
