Verse 17
John 11:17. He had lain in the grave four days— As a day or two at least must have been spent in making preparations for the funeral, and as Lazarus, when Jesus came, had been already buried four days, he could not well have been less than five days dead when our Lord arrived—an additional circumstance to illustrate the miracle.
