Ezekiel could not have known it, but in view of the incarnation there is an added beauty in this picture of a man’s hand beneath these symbolical representations of universal life. The hand that moves the world is the hand that made it the hand of “the man Christ Jesus.” (See note Ezekiel 1:26.)
