Publisher and bookseller, born Monmouth, England, 1807; died Paris, France, 1863. He published "The Catholic Magazine," and later "Dolman's Magazine and Monthly Miscellany of Criticism" which became "The Weekly Register." His constant aim was to raise the standard of the Catholic press.
