Founded as Saint Clara College in Sinsinawa, Wisconsin in 1901 by the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters of the Most Holy Rosary. The school was relocated to River Forest, Illinois in 1922, and renamed Rosary College. They instituted a master's degree program in 1949, and became coeducational in 1970. In 1997 the name was changed to Dominican University, and the institution became affiliated with several related religious schools. They have, also, a web site.
