You can’t live the Christian life on willpower alone.

The life Jesus calls us to is impossible apart from him. Loving your enemies. Killing sin. Staying faithful. Finding joy in suffering. None of that comes naturally.

Prayer isn’t the backup plan — it’s how God gives us the strength we don’t have. So, don’t treat it as the last thing you do. Treat it as the first.
