When he was in the Desert of Judah.</h3>63 <poetry>You, God, are my God, <indent>earnestly I seek you;</indent> I thirst for you, <indent>my whole being longs for you,</indent> in a dry and parched land <indent>where there is no water. </indent></poetry> 2 <poetry>I have seen you in the sanctuary <indent>and beheld your power and your glory. </indent> </poetry> 3 <poetry>Because your love is better than life, <indent>my lips will glorify you.</indent> </poetry> 4 <poetry>I will praise you as long as I live, <indent>and in your name I will lift up my hands. </indent> </poetry> 5 <poetry>I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods; <indent>with singing lips my mouth will praise you.</indent></poetry> 6 <poetry>On my bed I remember you; <indent>I think of you through the watches of the night. </indent> </poetry> 7 <poetry>Because you are my help, <indent>I sing in the shadow of your wings. </indent> </poetry> 8 <poetry>I cling to you; <indent>your right hand upholds me. </indent></poetry> 9 <poetry>Those who want to kill me will be destroyed; <indent>they will go down to the depths of the earth. </indent> </poetry> 10 <poetry>They will be given over to the sword <indent>and become food for jackals. </indent></poetry> 11 <poetry>But the king will rejoice in God; <indent>all who swear by God will glory in him, </indent> <indent>while the mouths of liars will be silenced. </indent></poetry>
