God has called ALL of us to share the Good News.

It is easy to decide that sharing the Gospel is for pastors or TV evangelists, but the truth is that God calls every believer in Matthew 28:19 when Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.” In Acts 1:8 Jesus said “And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” He didn’t say “some of you” for a reason. Sure, we all have different gifts and strengths that God will use for different purposes in his kingdom, but all of us, including you and me, are called to be witnesses of what he has done.

ALL DEVOTIONALS LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES LONG. The Creator made the heavens and the earth and entered His creation to solve the sin problem and give hope. Jesus died on the cross to transform all who are willing. The Scriptures are an unfailing guide for living a rational and joy-filled life of selfless goodness toward all. Your Father in heaven desires to give you the kingdom! Many have rejected a caricature of Christianity. And yet, the existence of significant caricatures points to an authentic original. There is a path of hope and an abundant life. Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled." You long for something more. You can have it beginning today. You can receive all, but you must give all. Many are not ready to give all. My desire is that this channel will help people taste and see that the Lord is good.

In a world with growing disparity between rich and poor, haves and have nots, the Church has too often mirrored economic divisions (along with divisions of race, politics, etc.). This clearly is at odds with the teachings and activity of Jesus. It is nothing like the new community, the Kingdom that we are called to demonstrate for the world. But when we come to the Lord's Table, we often get it right. There are no distinctions; no one gets special treatment, no one gets excluded. For a brief, fleeting moment, none of the world's divisions matter, and the Kingdom becomes visible.
