Chapter 7 gives us the first of 4 visions that Daniel had while in captivity. In this first one we have a reminder of what King Nebuchadnezzar saw in his own dream back in chapter 2. Yet we are given greater detail about the 4th kingdom that made up the statue’s feet. And what may seem like ancient history, really has yet to take place.
